Sales & Marketing Internship

Stock In Trade Ltd are interested in self-motivated interns wanting to get sales, marketing and business development experience in the office supplies sector.  The unpaid positions are for 2/3 months and based on performance can turn into a permanent full-time position. During this period your training, travel &  subsistence expenses will be paid.

Any experience you have is welcome, but we will be giving you training on everything from sales to how to use CRM.  It will be geared for your capabilities and targets.

You will need to work between 20 – 37.5 hours pw, but the hours can be flexible.  You will be expected to spend some time at our North West London office, but you will also have the opportunity to work from home and on the road as required.

A full UK driving license will be required for taking on a full time position, but a provisional license will be acceptable during the internship period.

Tasks

  • Generate new business leads using various marketing/sales methods
  • Book appointments for sales meetings
  • Online research to target prospective clients
  • Telephone, visit and canvass prospects / sites
  • Attend networking events to generate leads and raise awareness
  • Represent the company at local and national trade shows
  • Use social media to promote the company: write blogs, update Facebook and Twitter
  • Assisting on projects as assigned by senior management

Skills

  • Good communication, like people and ability to display confidence.
  • Can work in a team, but is self-motivated and doesn’t need managing.
  • IT comfortable in using office software, email, online sites and CRM apps.
  • Creative and able to innovate new ways to achieve our goals.
  • Able to meet deadlines and comfortable with targets.
